AMI 3–6 Montessori Assistants Course Adjunct

This course is exclusively for individuals who have already completed (or are currently receiving) the AMI Orientation Course Certificate for the 3–6 age level. It is intended for those who wish to upgrade their qualification to a full "Assistants Course Certificate" to work professionally in an AMI-recognized classroom.
What you will learn
The adjunct focuses on the practical application of assistant duties, including:
The Practical Role of the Assistant: Deepening the understanding of how to support the Lead Teacher (Guide).
Environmental Maintenance: Skills for the upkeep and preparation of the Montessori 3-6 materials and physical space.
Interaction Techniques: Refining how to interact with children in a way that protects their concentration and independence.
Supervised Practice: Hands-on engagement within the classroom setting to apply theoretical concepts in real-time.
Course Format & Requirements
Duration: A total of 20 hours.
Format: This course can only be facilitated onsite and face-to-face. Unlike the Orientation course, it cannot be taken fully online due to the practical nature of the training.
Attendance: Full participation in all scheduled sessions and practical components is required.
